Why is my streak lower than expected?
Your streak counts the days in a row on which you met your daily reading goal. Here is how it is worked out, so a number that looks low is easy to explain.

What counts as a day
A day counts when your reading time that day reaches your daily goal (you can change the goal in the app). Reading less than the goal still saves your time and pages, but the day does not count towards the streak. Days follow the calendar on your phone, in your own time zone.
Freezes
A freeze covers one missed day that sits between two days that count, so the streak runs on over it. Each month holds two freezes, used on the earliest gaps first.
Two or more missed days in a row still break the streak, and a freeze cannot save a gap at the end: it only bridges a day between two counted days.
Why it can look lower
- A session that ended before the goal was reached leaves that day out of the streak.
- A session logged by hand for another day counts for that day, not today.
- Both freezes of the month are already used, so a third gap breaks the run.
- The best run on your stats page and the current streak are different numbers.
