What is Endpapers?

Endpapers is a reading app for iPhone, now in development. It puts your books on a shelf, times your reading sessions, keeps the lines you want to remember, turns them into cards you can share, and tracks a reading streak that forgives a missed day.

Is Endpapers available yet?

No. Endpapers is in development and has no release date. You can join the waitlist at endpapers.app and you will get an email when it is ready.

How do I join the waitlist?

Enter your email on endpapers.app. We send one email with a link to confirm it, and your place counts once you open that link. The place in the queue is the order in which people confirmed.

Which email addresses can join?

For now, addresses at common providers such as Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo and Proton. Company and university addresses are not accepted yet.

What do you do with my email?

We use your email only to confirm your place and to tell you when Endpapers is ready. To limit abuse we keep a scrambled, one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself.

Which devices will Endpapers run on?

iPhone first, designed for iOS 26. Other platforms may follow, but none has been announced.

How much will Endpapers cost?

Pricing has not been announced. Joining the waitlist does not commit you to anything.

How do I add my books?

Scan a barcode, search by title or author, or add a book by hand. You can also import a CSV export from Goodreads or StoryGraph and choose which columns to bring over. There is no direct Kindle or Audible integration, because neither offers an official API.

Can I move my Goodreads library to Endpapers?

Yes. Export your library from Goodreads as a CSV file and import it into Endpapers, matching its columns to the fields you want to keep. StoryGraph exports work the same way.

How does the reading timer work?

Choose 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or no limit, and start reading. Endpapers stores the time you began and the time you ended, so it keeps counting while the screen is dark. You can add rain, a café, a fireplace, lo-fi or your own playlist, and an alarm when time is up. When you stop, tell it the page you reached and it works out the pages you read, your pace and how far through the book you are.

How do notes and highlights work?

Say a line out loud and it is transcribed, photograph the page, or type it. You can search everything you have kept and filter by voice, photos or quotes. A line from your shelf resurfaces now and then.

What are share cards?

Cards turn a favourite line or a finished book into an image you can post. There are six styles (Poster, Numbers, Shelf, Library card, Receipt and Quote) and three shapes (Story, Square and Sticker). The title, your streak and a QR code to your profile are switches you turn on or off.

What is a streak freeze?

A freeze protects your reading streak when you miss a day, so one bad evening does not undo a month. You set a daily goal of 10, 20, 30 or 45 minutes, or your own, and your longest streak stays on record.

Does Endpapers work offline?

It is built to. Your books, sessions and notes live on your phone first and sync when there is a connection, so you can read on a train, on a plane or in bed.

Do I need an account?

Yes. You will sign in with Apple, Google or a one-time code sent to your email.

Is Endpapers an alternative to Goodreads or StoryGraph?

It covers the same ground of keeping track of what you read, but it is built around how you read: a timer, notes and a streak, with your shelf as the home screen. You can bring your Goodreads or StoryGraph library with you. Social features such as friends come after launch.

Is Endpapers related to other products with a similar name?

No. This is the Endpapers reading app for iPhone at endpapers.app.
