Terms
Terms of use
These are the terms for using the Endpapers app and the servers behind it. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use it. Questions: support@endpapers.app.

The service
Endpapers helps you track the books you read, time your reading, keep notes, share cards, and follow other readers in a feed and in clubs. It is still in development: features can change, move or stop, and it can have bugs. We will try to give notice before something you rely on is removed.
Your account
You sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an e-mail address and a one-time code. Keep those accounts secure, because anyone who can use them can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@endpapers.app if you think someone else has access.
Your content
Your books, notes, photos, voice recordings and reviews are yours. You give us only the permission needed to store them and show them back to you, and, if you choose to publish a card or a public shelf, to display what you chose to make public. Do not add content you have no right to use. When you share a card, you decide where it goes and what is on it.
What you may not do
- Break the law or the rights of others, or post content that is abusive or that harasses people.
- Try to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the service.
- Use automated means to create accounts or to request sign-in codes in bulk.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the service except as the law allows.
The community
The feed, replies, profiles and clubs are shared with other readers. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive people. You may not post or send anything that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or illegal, that gives away someone else’s private information, or that is spam.
- You can report a person, a post, a reply or a club from its menu in the app.
- You can block a person, and their posts leave your feed at once.
- We review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these terms and we may suspend or close the account that posted it.
What you post stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to show it to the audience you chose. To reach us about something you saw, write to support@endpapers.app.
Book data and covers
Book details and covers come from public catalogues and may be wrong or incomplete. Covers belong to their publishers and authors. See data sources. You can correct a book in the app.
Paid features
A paid plan is planned. When it is offered, prices, trial terms and renewal will be shown before you confirm, purchases will go through your Apple account, and Apple’s own terms for subscriptions and refunds will apply. Nothing is charged by this version of the app.
Ending your use
You can stop using Endpapers and delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, and we will explain why when we can.
No guarantees, and our limits
The service is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for the service is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Changes and law
We may update these terms, and we will change the date at the top and tell you in the app when the change matters. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of Brazil can hear disputes, without taking away any consumer rights you have where you live.
